Ballin' Cards is a personal project -- a basketball card game built for fun. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and what you agree to by creating an account. We keep it short and in plain English.

What You Agree To

By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't create an account -- simple as that.

• You won't try to break, exploit, or interfere with the service
• You won't create accounts for abusive or disruptive purposes
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure
• We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms

What We Collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the game:

• Username -- chosen by you at registration
• Password -- stored as a bcrypt hash (we never see or store your actual password)
• Game data -- your game stats, session history, and saved progress

We do not collect your email, real name, location, or any personal information beyond your username.

How We Use It

Your data is used to:

• Log you in and keep your session active
• Save your game progress and stats
• Show leaderboards and career records

We don't sell or share your data with anyone.

Advertising

Ballin' Cards is free to play. To help cover hosting costs, we may display banner ads from third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense). These ads may:

• Use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing activity
• Collect anonymized data about your visit (pages viewed, time on site) for ad targeting
• Be served by third-party vendors including Google

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings or using browser extensions that block ads. We do not control the content of third-party ads and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Cookies & Storage

We use browser localStorage to store your login token. Third-party ad networks may also set cookies on your browser for ad serving and personalization. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings.

Data Storage

Your data is stored in a database on our server. We run daily backups. The site uses HTTPS encryption for all connections.

Deleting Your Account

Want your account deleted? Just ask. Since this is a small project, reach out to the site operator and we'll remove your data.

The Service

• Ballin' Cards is provided as-is, with no warranty
• The game is in active development -- things may break or change
• We may update these terms; continued use means you accept changes
• We can modify or shut down the service at any time

Children

Ballin' Cards is not directed at children under 13. If you're under 13, please don't create an account.
